DJ Alex Sound Equipment

I am frequently asked what type of dj sound equipment I use for parties and wedding receptions that I do in such places as Young Harris, Georgia; Rock Hill, South Carolina and Charlotte, North Carolina. People also wonder whether there is any back-up dj equipment.

My dj equipment is of a professional grade unlike some djs who use I Pods which run the risk of locking up stopping the fun time guests are having. Currently, Alex' DJ Entertainment, Inc. uses 19" rack mounted audio components which has two dual Stanton CD players. The second unit is for backup purposes just in case I were to have a problem with the main unit while djing. Two JBL active speakers (active in that each speaker is powered by its own internal amplifier and operates independently of the other) supplies quality music for you and your guests. If one speaker/amplifier should develop a problem, the other one is always there for backup so the event does not stop. In addition, as a professional dj I prefer rich music tones so my dj equipment includes the Samson powered subwoofer which reproduces low bass tones of the music. For those times when microphones are needed, I use Shure brand microphones which are the industry standard for quality and reliability.

Since my name is used for my company, Alex' DJ Entertainment, Inc, I do everything possible to make a party or wedding reception the best possible event! Due to that professional standard, I am in the process of converting all my dj music to laptop computers. Based on the ever increasing number of CDs I continue to collect for djing, a more effecient method was needed to make sure to have what you and your guests might want. Just as increasing the music I have to offer you and your guests is important, maintaining my professional dj quality is just as important. Considerable research is going into the most reliable method of setting up the new audio equipment which includes a backup system since even the best electronic equipment has been known to experience trouble on rare occasions. Having backup equipment on hand is my assurance to you, as your DJ, that there will be uninterrupted music on your special day.
