The Music Styles of an Experienced DJ

As mentioned before, I am the only DJ at Alex' DJ Entertainment, Inc., a company that does many wedding receptions and parties in and around Charlotte, North Carolina. As such , I believe it important to supply wedding reception and party music that you and your guests want to dance to. At the same time, an event involves socializing and eating during which appropriate music, but not necessarily dance music, needs to be played. That is why such a variety of music is very important to meet the different elements of the reception or party.

As a professional DJ, I make a point of maintaining a large selection of music that are radio edits. Even with my library, a person may want a song played that is not in my music library. In those instances, when there is advanced notification, I work on locating the music that is requested. In cases when advance notification is not possible, the question is asked whether I can play special cds that people might bring to the party. I make it a point to have DJ equipment that lets people enjoy their music whether using music supplied by me, as the DJ, or playing the guests' cds.
