DISC JOCKEY PHOTO GALLERYOver the years, I have acted as the Master of Ceremony and DJ at a variety of weddings, wedding receptions, and parties in all types of locations in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee. No matter what the situation, I am there to make sure you and your guests have the music you enjoy the most. That includes times when karaoke is part of the celebration. To accomplish making an enjoyable event, it's not just playing a song as knowing who sings it, the year it was produced, how it has influenced other songs along with other details. Besides wanting to know the type of songs you and your guests enjoy, I consider it very important to use my knowledge to enhance your experience. Music plays an integral part of a wedding and wedding reception.
The entry and exit of the bridal party, first dance, parent dances and cake cutting are just as important as playing the songs that make people of all ages want to get up and dance. During the start of the party, music is played allowing people an opportunity to catch up with each other.
After that people are ready to pick up the tempo and dance their hearts out. Over the years I have set up in a variety of locations inside and outside. These are just a few examples. |
All parties require an extensive collection of music stretching from the '40's to the top 40's.
For this generation, though, it is extremely important to have the current hits by the performers who make them popular.
What the young people don't need is all the language used in the non-edited version.
That is why I disc jockey using strictly radio edited music for all parties. A disc jockey is responsible for supplying quality music but if I'm your dj I can take your party to another level if you so desire.
For those who elect to use Conga Hats and/or YMCA Hats, I make an announcement at an appropriate time about the hats and make sure to play play for guests to enjoy using the hats.
Some guests who never get on a dance floor respond to the hats and join in the fun out on the dance floor.
In some cases, hats are not desired and I make sure that people have just as enjoyable time dancing to the right type of music. |
